A boring day

Yesterday was a boring day, except for a couple of things. We learned that we have another foster dog coming from Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) as soon as we can make arrangements to pick it up. Our human is not driving until Friday evening, he is grounded by his doctor. We will let you know who we get to have as a foster friend. GRRR is not only about Golden Retrievers, our volunteers can not say no to other dogs that are in need of rescue. We have a number of "Honorary Golden Retrievers" in the system. We have so many new dogs in the rescue system, we need all the help we can get to find homes for new abandoned dogs. Stay tuned.
Above is a picture of how Bella spent her day. There is a couch and a chair in the glass entryway where the sun shines on cold mornings. It is the only furniture that we are allowed on. Bella always hogs the best spot to lay in the morning sun.

Here is a picture of how I spent my day. The local exercise pool was throwing out its broken pool floats. They want to see broken, I will show them broken!

  1. I do not know how I would have spent my day, napping in the sun or chewing up that float. Hmmm such hard decisions. hehe. have a great weekend.

  3. As my mother often tells me as she looks at me adoringly,"Who could not love a Golden". The picture of Bella and you both are what brings love to the heart. Speaking of hearts, so much for your humans taking off time before they foster another Golden!! Yeah for them!!
    Love to all,
    Sophie

  4. Hey Mogley,
Looks like you had "noodles' for lunch yesterday. We are having Colorado weather today, we don't know where the Virginia weather went, but it ain't here. All the waterbowls outside have turned to rocks. Thank goodness our lake is heated like a big swimming pool or it would be a rock to. Bella has the right idea laying in the sun. Alex and boru lay in our kitchen sun and the peeps won't let us chase them away cuz there stuck inside all the time. We're looking forward to hearing about your new foster. Our foster, Sophie, doesn't want to go anywhere; she says she likes it here.
