Above, Stella (left) playing Tug-O-Stick with our cousin Molly.
Last evening we drove Stella over to Rescue Central to meet a new family. The family wanted a companion for their 2 1/2 year old Holly, a pretty golden girl. They had a long discussion with us and with the rescue about her health problems and what they would mean in the future. Stella was so nice and was so sweet to them and Holly that they decided to adopt her on the spot. We had taken Stella's medications and her orthopedic bed with us just in case.
Her new home has all the things Stella had told us she wanted. She wanted squirrels to chase, they have them. She liked eating apples off of our trees, they have them. She wanted a stay at home family so she could get attention all day long, they work from home. She wanted a dog door so she could have some freedom to come and go, to play when she wanted, she got one.
Congratulations, Stella, you have a wonderful home, forever! Bella, I and Nala wish you well in your new home and we hope you keep in touch. You are such a wonderful lady that we will miss you a lot, we wish you a wonderful life with a great new family, you deserve it for being a great lady.

Lookin' forward to hearing about what's happenin' as life goes on in forever homes...Loved hearin' when former fosters write to you Mogley. So neat when you run into former foster brothers and sisters at the GRRR get togethers. Maybe you should teach all of 'em to type before they leave and you'd hear more!
