Welcome Home!

We don't normally include links and third party content. Suz sent us these two links of Golden Retrievers welcoming Dad home from overseas. It was late for Veteran's day, but enjoy.

It just proves how loyal we are, and yes, we do have long memories.

For you humans who are not as web savvy as Golden's are, you may just copy and paste the links, one at a time, into your browser.

Our human said he wore his dog tags yesterday so that he could be one of "us" for the day. I did notice that his rabies tag was not up to date, I guess it is all right as long as he does not bite me. We were not fooled by why he was wearing his old dog tags, we think he wore his dog tags because it was Veteran's day and his dog tags are the only part of his old uniform that still fits.

  2. Thank you for your service. Mom puts out the Vietnam Vet flag no matter what the weather, she said her dad never came home and thats her way of remembering him even thou she didnt know him...So many gave so much so we can have the freedom we have today. We hope that those who gave the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten..

  3. Thanks for posting this video. And it's ironic you would post it when you did. I returned home from 2 months in Iraq on the 12th. My golden, Bailey greeted me in almost the same fashion. Now she wont leave my side.

Thanks for linking ot this video.

  4. Hey Mogley,
Aside from our dad's dog tags, perhaps his flight jacket still fits because it's a super-duper large to wear over cold weather gear. Tell your dad "Thank You for your service" from all 13 of us please. Thanks for posting the video clips. We dogs do have long memories.
